Launch odds vs. real odds on SET FOR LIFE
The odds printed on SET FOR LIFE were set the day it went to print and they never move. The real odds do, every single day, as prizes get claimed and tickets sell. When the $5,000/Week for life prizes get scooped up faster than the tickets sell, the real odds on that top prize get worse than what’s on the front. When tickets sell faster than the big prizes go, they get better. With 6 of 6 top prizes still out there, whether SET FOR LIFE is worth your money comes down to the odds today — and for this game that number is right above, free.
SET FOR LIFE questions
- Does SET FOR LIFE still have its top prize?
- Yes. 6 of 6 $5,000/Week for life top prizes are still unclaimed on SET FOR LIFE (New York game #1712), going by the latest numbers the New York Lottery reports.
- What are the real odds on SET FOR LIFE right now?

The odds that actually matter get recalculated from the prizes and tickets still left today, and that live number is the one members see.
- How much is a SET FOR LIFE ticket?
- SET FOR LIFE costs $10 in New York.
- Why doesn't the New York Lottery just tell me this?
- Because the odds printed on the ticket make every game look identical from the day it launches to the day it ends. The lottery has no reason to point out that a game's best prizes are already claimed. We read the remaining-prize data New York publishes every day and do the math they leave out.
