Mega Millions Number Generator

Random picks that skip the numbers everyone else plays. Same odds of winning, less chance of sharing the jackpot if you do.

How many lines?

Same odds of winning as any other line. The filters only lower the chance of sharing a jackpot.

The filters

How the picks are filtered

Every number is drawn at random from 1 to 70 for the white balls and 1 to 24 for the Mega Ball. Lines that look hand-picked get thrown out: mostly dates, straight runs, tidy patterns, or five numbers bunched inside a span of ten.

FAQ

Mega Millions generator questions

Is this a random Mega Millions number generator?

Yes. Every number comes out of the full pools at random. Lines matching patterns people tend to favor get thrown out and redrawn.

How is this different from an Easy Pick?

An Easy Pick is random too. This adds one step: it screens out lines that look hand-picked before you ever see them.

What are the least common Mega Millions numbers?

The numbers drawn least often aren't due. Every drawing starts with a full set of balls. What you control is how many other people are holding your numbers.

How do you avoid splitting the jackpot?

Stay away from what crowds pick: birthdays, anniversaries, sequences and playslip shapes. Your odds of hitting don't change. Your odds of sharing do.

From the blackjack tournament

In a blackjack tournament, copying the chip leader's bet means you can never pass them. The only way to separate from the field is to do what the field isn't doing. Picking jackpot numbers works the same way. Play what everyone plays and even a win gets carved up.

Scratch-offs

Before you buy a scratch-off with that Mega Millions ticket

If you're at the counter buying a Mega Millions ticket, you might grab a scratch-off too. Here's what nobody behind the glass will tell you: some of those games have no top prizes left. They're still on the rack, still full price, and still printed with a headline prize that's already been claimed.

Dead games right now

275 scratch-off games across 28 states have no top prizes left.

I built Savvy Scratch to flag those games. Seeing which ones are dead in your state is free, no card required.

Want the games that still have their top prizes? That's $5 a month or $50 a year, with a 30-day worry-free guarantee.
