Launch odds vs. real odds on 24 Karat Gold
The odds printed on 24 Karat Gold were set the day it went to print and they never move. The real odds do, every single day, as prizes get claimed and tickets sell. When the $40,000 prizes get scooped up faster than the tickets sell, the real odds on that top prize get worse than what’s on the front. When tickets sell faster than the big prizes go, they get better. With 2 of 2 top prizes still out there, whether 24 Karat Gold is worth your money comes down to the odds today — and for this game that number is right above, free.

- Why doesn't the Oregon Lottery just tell me this?
