Florida runs one of the biggest scratch-off programs in the country, which means at any given moment you are standing in front of a wall of tickets with no way to tell the live games from the dead ones. The state does not put a sticker on a ticket that says its top prizes were claimed back in the spring. The clerk cannot tell you. The marketing photo will not tell you. All of them cost the same money whether the prize that pulled you in is still in the pack or long gone.
I have spent fifteen years making a living off games of chance, mostly poker and blackjack card counting, with over half a million dollars in lifetime winnings. None of it came from luck. It came from doing the math the house was hoping I would skip. Scratch-offs reward that exact discipline, because every game is a fixed print run with a fixed set of prizes inside it, and as those prizes get claimed the math quietly shifts. Below are the Florida games that are sitting on the right side of that shift today, pulled straight from the remaining-prize data as of June 17, 2026.
How I am ranking these (and why it changes daily)
A scratch-off is not like the Powerball draw on TV that resets every night. Each game is a closed pool. The number you see on the back, the one in three point something, describes the game the day it left the printer. It says nothing about the version sitting in the rack in front of you, which has had months and millions of tickets to drift away from that starting point.
This is the same thing a card counter does at a blackjack table. When the small cards have been dealt out and the deck is rich in aces and faces, the count is positive and you press your bets. When the big cards are gone, you back off. I am not guessing which Florida scratch-offs are hot. I am reading whether the current odds on the top prizes are shorter than the odds the game launched with, tier by tier. When a game has sold a big chunk of its tickets but is still holding most of its best prizes, the unsold tickets are richer than the printed odds claim. That is a positive count, and that is a game worth playing. If you want to see this exact method run in another state first, I walked through it in Best Scratch Offs in California.

Right now there are thirteen Florida games carrying the app's top rating, spanning every price point from two dollars to fifty. Here are the ones that stand out and why.
200X The Cash ($20) is the cleanest live game on the board
If you want the textbook example of what a live game looks like, it is the twenty-dollar 200X The Cash. About sixty-six percent of its tickets have already sold, but the top of the prize structure is barely touched. Two of the four top prizes of five million dollars are still unclaimed. Five of the ten one-hundred-thousand-dollar prizes are still out there. Fifteen of the forty twenty-thousand-dollar prizes remain.
Read the prize tiers and the asymmetry is obvious. Every meaningful tier, from a thousand dollars on up to the five-million top prize, shows current odds that are shorter than the printed launch odds. The five-million tier moved from one in 5,276,993 at launch to roughly one in 3,621,419 today. The hundred-thousand tier went from one in 2,110,797 to about one in 1,448,568. The game is selling tickets faster than it is paying out its big prizes, which is exactly the gap you want to be buying into.

The Price is Right ($5) has the most top-prize inventory left
For a five-dollar ticket, The Price is Right is the strongest game in the state right now, and it is the one I would point a budget-conscious player toward first. The game is under sixty percent sold, and five of its eight one-million-dollar top prizes are still in the pack. Only three have been claimed. The current odds on that top prize have improved from one in 2,864,910 at launch to roughly one in 1,893,301 today, and the second tier of fifty-thousand-dollar prizes still has seventeen of forty unclaimed.
That combination, low ticket price and deep remaining top-prize inventory, is rare. Most five-dollar games that have been on the shelf this long have already had their headline prizes picked clean.
These first two are exactly the kind of game that drops off the list the moment a couple of big prizes get hit, so the snapshot you are reading is already a day old by lottery standards. To see the live Florida Good list instead of a frozen one, open Savvy Scratch and select Florida. It is five dollars a month or fifty dollars a year, with a 30-day worry-free guarantee, which is less than a single losing ticket if it keeps you out of one dead game a month.
Double Your Money ($5) is the late-game special, with a catch
Here is one that teaches a more advanced point. Double Your Money is a five-dollar game that is almost sold out, about ninety-five percent gone, with only around 737,000 tickets left. It has one of its four million-dollar top prizes still unclaimed. Because that single prize is now concentrated in a tiny pool of unsold tickets, the current odds on it have collapsed from one in 3,819,210 at launch to roughly one in 737,548 today. On paper, that is the shortest top-prize odds of any Florida game on this list.
I am including it because the data genuinely favors it, but be clear about what you are buying. There is exactly one top prize left and the game is nearly finished, so the depth behind that headline number is thin. The shot at the million is real and statistically rich, but there is no fallback once it is gone. That is a judgment call about your own appetite, not a math error, and it is worth making on purpose rather than by accident.
The rest of the live Florida board, by price
If you play the two-dollar tier, $1,000 A Week For Life is the only one currently rated at the top, and it still holds a meaningful chunk of its top prizes relative to how far it has sold.

The five-dollar tier is where Florida is deepest right now. Beyond The Price is Right and Double Your Money, Break The Bank, 50X The Cash, the $250,000 Holiday Cash game, and Guy Harvey $1,000,000 Florida Big Bills are all carrying the top rating today. Break The Bank is a useful reminder to read the whole prize table before you commit, because its top prize improved sharply as the game sold down while several of its mid-tier prizes drifted the other way. The shot at the million is richer than launch, the grind for small wins is a little worse, and which of those matters depends on what you are actually playing for. That single dynamic, one claimed top prize swinging the entire character of a game, is the whole ballgame, and I broke down the math of it in How Jackpot Ratios Can Make or Break Your Scratch-Off Ticket Choice.
In the ten-dollar tier, $500,000 Holiday Cash, the $2,000,000 Gold Rush Multiplier, and Scorching Hot 7s are the live ones. The twenty-dollar pick is 200X The Cash, covered above. At thirty dollars, Florida 300X the Cash still rates well. And if you play the fifty-dollar tickets, 500X The Cash is the top-rated option in that tier right now. If none of these line up with the price you actually play, that is not a problem to force your way through. There is real money in doing nothing, which is the case I make in Why Sitting Out Is a Winning Move.
The one habit that beats every Florida player buying blind
The single biggest factor in whether you walk out of the gas station with a fair shot is not which ticket you scratch. It is which game you bought before you ever started scratching. Most Florida players pick by the artwork or by whatever the clerk hands them, which is the equivalent of walking into a poker room and taking the first open seat without looking at the table. Serious players obsess over table selection because it decides more than skill does. Scratch-offs work the same way. The game is the asset, not the store and not the design, so stop letting the cashier pick your ticket and start knowing your game before you reach the counter.
None of this turns the lottery into a winning bet over the long run. The state takes its cut and the math stays negative. What reading the data does is keep you out of the gutted games whose top prizes were claimed months ago, and into the ones where the prize you are chasing is still sitting in the pack. Over a year of buying tickets, that is the difference between funding a hobby and watching a budget evaporate.
Florida's board moves every single day. A game that is live this morning can lose two of its remaining top prizes by the weekend, and a game that was mediocre last week can quietly become the best play in the state because nobody was paying attention. The list above is accurate as of June 17, 2026. By the time you read this, check it fresh.
