Launch odds vs. real odds on IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE®
The odds printed on IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® were set the day it went to print and they never move. The real odds do, every single day, as prizes get claimed and tickets sell. When the $10,000 prizes get scooped up faster than the tickets sell, the real odds on that top prize get worse than what’s on the front. When tickets sell faster than the big prizes go, they get better. With 4 of 4 top prizes still out there, whether IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® is worth your money comes down to the odds today — and for this game that number is right above, free.
IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® questions
- Does IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® still have its top prize?
- Yes. 4 of 4 $10,000 top prizes are still unclaimed on IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® (Connecticut game #1908), going by the latest numbers the Connecticut Lottery reports.
- What are the real odds on IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® right now?
- The $10,000 top prize launched at 1 in 208,250, and that is the number printed on the ticket. Those odds were locked in the day the game printed and they never move. The odds that actually matter get recalculated from the prizes and tickets still left today, and that live number is the one members see.
- How much is a IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® ticket?
- IT’S GOLD OUTSIDE® costs $2 in Connecticut.
- Why doesn't the Connecticut Lottery just tell me this?
- Because the odds printed on the ticket make every game look identical from the day it launches to the day it ends. The lottery has no reason to point out that a game's best prizes are already claimed. We read the remaining-prize data Connecticut publishes every day and do the math they leave out.
